SUNY Delhi Students Take Gold in International Culinary Competition


SUNY Delhi’s culinary team landed a historic win in Costa Rica last week after creating a three-course meal in two and half hours.

Having competed in regional and national competitions, the World Junior Culinary Cup marked the team’s first international victory. Representing the United States competition, five members of the team took gold medals in both hot and cold food categories.

Along with taking gaining international attention from their recent victory, the Oneonta Daily Star reported that the team will also be put in the national spotlight on an upcoming episode of Food Network’s “Farmhouse Rules.”
