BU Students Invest in Victory at Stock Pitch Competition

Four students from Binghamton University took first place at the Ross School of Business’ annual stock challenge in Michigan.

BU students, Ronnie Sanon, Robert Pim, Jonathan Heller, and Brandon Fine, won after pitching to short the GATX Corporation in the final round.

Students were allowed to pitch stocks with: a daily trading volume of at least 100,000 shares, a stock price above $2, and a market cap above $500 million.
